Compétences Québec is taking appropriate measures in order to protect the confidentiality of our visitors. Also, all of the useful precautions are taken to assure the confidentiality of the personal information that you send to us, all in accordance with Loi sur l'accès aux documents des organismes publics et sur la protection des renseignements personnels.

PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU SEND TO US

Conformant with article 64 of the access Law, Compétences Québec does not keep anything but the necessary information required by school boards, colleges or the ministère de l'Éducation.

At the time that personal information is being collected, you will be notified :

1. of the name and address of the organization that is doing the collecting;

2. what the information will be used for;

3. the category of people who will have access to this information;

4. whether the application is optional or required;

5. consequences for the person or the third party, if applicable, for refusal to answer the application;

6. rights to access and correct the information provided.

Electronic forms that you send to us through our Internet site or by e-mail are subject to the same confidentiality as regular mail.

CONCERNING COOKIES

As soon as you access the Inforoute FPT site, there is an automatic exchange of information between your computer and our server.

Therefore, certain pages on our site (those written in ASP) require the transfer of cookies. Cookies is a small file installed your computer's hard drive containing information that improves the communication between our server and your navigator.

Our server installs a permanent cookie on your computer when you first visit our site, and another cookie at the beginning of each subsequent visit. Our use of cookies is limited to the technical management of sessions, specifically in order to analyse navigation sessions.

The visitor's personal information is not kept with cookies.

You may refuse or deactivate cookies. In this case, certain actions on our site will not be available. For example, the access to the discussion forums is personalized according to the type of clientele.
