The CHSLD Orderlies (PAB) training is back!

PRELIMINARY STEP TO YOUR APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION: People interested in obtaining a job as a CHSLD Orderly (PAB) must apply on the site https://www.santeestrie.qc.ca/carrieres/vous-souhaitez-devenir-pab . Only those selected by the CIUSSS de l'Estrie-CHUS will be admitted to the training.

To be a part of this training, before applying for admission, you must:

Be available full-time, 30 hours a week
Be able to get to the training sites (Vocational Training Centre and CIUSSS de l'Estrie-CHUS)
Have obtained the educational prerequisites required for this training program
Succed the CIUSSS recruitment process
This program is not offered to international students

Required Prerequisites

A person who meets the following conditions is eligible for this study program:

Have successfully completed Secondary 3 courses in language of instruction (English), second language (French) and mathematics

Hold an attestation of highschool equivalency

Have passed the General Development Test (GDT) without any specific prerequisites

Possess experiential learning related to this program of study

AND

Be 18 years of age or older.

Very important: you must be available to start the three-month, full-time training at 30 hours per week.
