SCHOOL DAYCARE EDUCATOR – ONLINE – AEP 390 HRS – Ministry Code 4732

Schedule:  Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm and every 2^nd Saturday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Our (online) School Daycare Educator program leads to a Government AEP (Attestation d’études professionelles) giving students the credentials to work as School Daycare Educators.

ONLINE PROGRAM:  most of the program is taught online.

• Students will require their own computer and internet connection to follow the program. Students will be required to come into the centre for evaluations and/or exams.

COST:  There is no cost to take this program, however, students may be required to purchase additional materials/books.

***NOTE:  CPR Training is not offered with this program. Students who do not have CPR training or if it is expired, will be responsible to attain it separately at the cost of the student.

Upon successful completion of this program, students will receive a certification that will allow them to work in the daycare services of an elementary school.  This course is a prerequisite to work in a school daycare and to be eligible for the position of Daycare Educator.

Hold a Secondary School Diploma (SSD) or its equivalent.
