This STC, Skills Training Certificate, trains students to provide assistance to clients of all ages in health and social service establishments. They assist clients in carrying out activities of daily living, such as eating, bathing, and walking as well as other related tasks related to the job.

Please note that only the complete files will be assessed.

All candidates wishing to benefit from the bursary must:

- Hold a canadian citizen permanent resident status and reside in Quebec

- Respect the prerequisites below

- Be selected by one of our health care partners using their selection criteria.

Required Prerequisites

To be eligible for admission to the Support for Assistive Care in Health and Social Service Establishments, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Have successfully completed Secondary 3 credits in language of instruction, second language and mathematics, or have been granted recognition for equivalent learning

OR

• Hold an Attestation of Equivalence of Secondary Studies (TENS)

OR

• Have successfully completed the General Development Test (GDT) and the specific language of instruction prerequisites (i.e. ENG 3101-1 and ENG 3102-2) or recognition of equivalent learning)
