The purpose of the TESOL program is to train English teachers able to teach in the language schools in Montreal or in language schools and high schools abroad. This is a complete program as students will learn teaching, classroom control and evaluation strategies required in otder to teach English. The program also includes courses aiming at consolidating the students’ knowledge of the English language, as well as courses aiming at designing and analyzing learning activities, finally at selecting the proper teaching material. This program includes an observation session where every student will observe a qualified teacher giving a class. The program is accredited by the Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) Canada Federation.
