Only candidates selected by LVTC and a private seniors' residence can apply to this group.
If you are not already working in a private seniors' residence, you must apply in the regular DVS program 5905.

To be eligible for admission to the Support for Assistive Services in Health and Social Services Institutions program leading to an STC, candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
• Have obtained at least Secondary III credits or the equivalent in the language of instruction (LI), second language (SL) and mathematics
OR
• Hold an Attestation of Equivalence of Secondary Studies (AESS)
OR
• Have passed the General Development Test (GDT) and the following specific prerequisites in the language of instruction: ENG 3101-1 and ENG 3102-2, or have been granted recognition for equivalent learning
