This program aims to develop skills for inspection and quality in several fields of civil engineering such as: roads construction, municipal development, mining industry, infrastructure projects.
To solve mathematical problems related to buildings and public works;
To analyze construction materials;
To customize methods for producing construction materials;
To take responsability for occupational health and safety;
To carry out a topometric survey;
To analyze soils;
To implement construction works
To make revision of road or municipal works;
Contribute to inspection / quality control of road and municipal works;
Participate to technique conception projets of municipal infrastructures;
Participe to technique conception projects of roads, fundations or dam;
To integrate work environment;
To draw a plan;
To operate a computer environment.
Have a high school diploma (DES) or equivalent;
OR
Possess relevant experience;
AND
Be well adapted to outdoors’ work.

Training location
Most of the classroom training will be provided in Chibougamau, within the Business and community Service’s facilities. However, if the occasion arise, part of the training could be provide either in civil engineering projects or within communities
Lab facilities, map library and other specialized facilities will be provided by regional partners
Training internships within regional engineering project
