Description / Additional Information
Prepares students for the occupation of bus driver in the five key sectors of the industry: urban transportation, school transportation, intercity transportation, charter transportation, and adapted transportation. The training leads to a Class 2 driver’s licence issued by the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ).
What to Expect in a Bilingual Group
Instruction is provided in French (English tutoring is available).
Learning materials are provided in English.
Exams are in English (including the SAAQ exam).

Prerequisites
A person is eligible for a Skills Training Certificate (STC/AEP) program if they meet the following conditions:
Have obtained at least Secondary 3 credits or the equivalent in the language of instruction, second language, and mathematics;
or hold an Attestation of Equivalence of Schooling (AES);
or have passed the General Development Test (GDT), with or without specific prerequisites.
Meet the requirements of the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) for obtaining a Class 2 driver’s licence.
Important note: Some employers require candidates to be 21 years of age at the time of hiring.
