CHSLD orderlies care for autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors as well as seniors experiencing a loss of autonomy. They assist clients in carrying out activities of daily living, such as moving around and eating. CHSLD orderlies prevent infections and contamination, and ensure the clients’ well-being and safety.
You are eligible for this program of study if you meet the following requirements: Have successfully completed your Secondary III language of instruction, second language and mathematics courses OR Hold an Attestation of Equivalence of Secondary Studies (AESS) OR Have passed the General Development Test (GDT) without specific prerequisites OR Have experience related to this program of study AND Are 18 years old or over
