Objectifs du programme

The goal of the Laboratory Technology program is to provide students with the aptitudes to become laboratory technologists in manufacturing companies, particularly those in the agro-food, pharmaceutical and environmental sectors. In addition, the students will be capable of working in biotechnology laboratories, laboratories of companies in the industrial chemistry, mining, mettalurgy, petrochemical, materials and pulp and paper sectors.

Specialization A: Biotechnology

The biotechnology specialization aims to train the students in the area of microorganisms and cells; to perform biochemical, microbiological and immunological analyses; to perform activities related to genetical engineering and to perform toxicity and ecotoxicity tests focusing on quality control, research, development and production.

Specialization B: Analytical Chemistry

The analytical chemistry specialization aims to train students to perform inorganic and organic chemical analyses and to use instrumental and manual methods, all the while focusing on quality control, research, development and production.

Laboratory Technology
